Welcome Back

Since my last update I have graduated form Randolph Community College with an AAS in Commercial Photography. While I will miss all of my instructors and friends I am excited to see what my future holds.

Cabarrus County Child Nutrition

Two years ago I designed the logo for Cabarrus County Child Nutrition. For my assignment this week I decided to try and turn the logo into a real picture. This is how it turned out!!

Panoramics

The Mountain House

Over the weekend I had to chance to go to my families mountain house in VA. These are just a few of the photos that I took.

The house is very old and has no electriclity , so we are always sitting out on the front porch in old torn up chairs.

For my digital class this week we were given this picture to retouch. After many hours I finally got it done.

While going around Charlotte, working on a panoramic assignment, I shot this picture of my cousin. (this is straight out of the camera)

Wheels in Motion

For this weeks assignment we were given the topic "wheels in motion" and where free to show it however we wanted. I chose to use this old clock and show the gears.

Lights, Camera, Action....

For one of my classes this week we were split into groups and given a object and a list of words. We had to take a different picture of the object showing each word on the list. The word for this image is "play on perspective"

Tic Tock

This is for my creative assignment! We were given the chance to do anything that we have learned to make a creative and original print. So I took one of my old B/W negs and drew all over it then printed it in color! Hope you like.

Only you can prevent Bus Fires

While shooting a project I saw this bus sitting among other buses that had been wreaked. I had never seen what happens to a bus when is catches fire so I stopped to take some pictures. In this photo the light on the sign has started to melt down the stop sign and then the mangled mess in the back is what is left of the bus.
